New special edition Suzuki Hayabusa could soon land in the UK

Suzuki has revealed one of the most striking Hayabusa designs of the last few years, and we hope it comes to the UK very soon.

Special edition motorcycles usually offer up something a little bit out of the ordinary, and this striking Pearl Vigor Blue Suzuki Hayabusa fits that mold to a tee.

Suzuki’s iconic sportbike was recently tickled for the UK market with regards to updated colours, as a new Metallic Matt Steel Green livery was joined by a blacked-out option with titanium silver, and a silver variant with blue details.

The new special edition model features no technical or mechanical changes, meaning it keeps the 1340cc, inline four-cylinder engine that produces around 187bhp at 9,700rpm and 110 Ib ft of torque at 7,000rpm.

Instead, it gets a fresh livery that ups the ante with its design. It all starts with the fuel tank, which gets a special edition emblem and a Suzuki decal on the side of the unit which is specific to this bike. It also gets a single seated cowl as standard for all models that will be available outside of Japan.

As standard the Hayabusa comes with lean angle-sensitive electronics with selectable power and traction control modes, different levels of anti-wheelie and engine braking settings. It also features cruise and launch control and a quickshifter. We expect all of this to be transferred over to the special edition.

The 2026 special edition bike has not yet been made available in the European market, nor do we know exactly what the price will be when or if it arrives in the UK.

However, the standard 2025 model is currently priced at £17,299, so we would expect it to be slightly more expensive than that, possibly getting close to the £20,000 mark.
