Honda's Hornet range were often seen as the bike that took away Suzuki's crown that they'd deservedly achieved with their Bandit range. The innovative design, the versatility to be personalized and the build quality all put together gave the bike buying public something that they appeared to want.
The Honda CB600F Hornet remained a mainstay within Honda's range for almost 2 decades with very little in the way of competition. Although the design was tweaked marginally over that period, it was easily identifiable as the Hornet at a glance whichever year model you happened to be looking at.
In the early days, Honda came out with the additional option in the range of a semi-faired variant which exposed the Hornet to a wider audience. It was only offered for 4 years, but during that time the sales equaled the ones of the conventional naked model. Given that some time has passed since these were on offer, they have become few and far between and even more so for exceptional ones like we have here.
This outstanding example has only changed hands the once during its life and has just 7593 miles on the clock. Not only has it barely been used, but it's been kept in exceptional condition throughout. It's had a clear tank protector in place from the outset and has been fitted with a remote-controlled Datatool Duo alarm system.
