Honda has revealed a new version of its V3R900 E-Compressor, which gains AI voice control, a titanium fuel tank, and Honda’s RoadSync connectivity.

The revolutionary machine was showcased at EICMA with what Honda called “the final design lines” ahead of it moving into production, two years after its original sighting.

Unveiled as the V3 Concept back then, the bike was further developed last year when it was showcased alongside Honda’s 2026 model line-up.

But the latest images from Honda show a motorcycle that has gone from imagination and ideas, to being production-ready.

There’s been no confirmation from Honda as to when the V3R900 E-Compressor will go on sale, or what the bike’s price will be.

But what we do know is that the latest version of the bike retains the 900cc, liquid-cooled 75-degree V3 engine we saw previously.

What makes the bike stand out from all other naked motorcycles, is that it’s topped off with an electronically driven compressor, marking a world-first for a production motorcycle.

The system is designed to deliver instant torque from very low in the rpm range by controlling compression of the air intake, irrespective of engine rpm.

The result is a motorcycle that can achieve performance comparable to that of a much bigger 1,200cc engine.

As well as the titanium fuel tank, and Honda’s RoadSync system, the V3R900 Compressor will feature AI-assisted functionality. The new connected features are planned to be progressively introduced to other compatible models, according to Honda.

The Japanese manufacturer also says that “development is proceeding at speed, with further updates to come regarding mass production timings”.
