How to throw away a 125GP win...

by Johann Zarco

Johann Zarco has become an entertaining but endearing character in the 125 Grand Prix championship having come frustratingly close to winning his first race on numerous occasions this season. First being docked of a win for some forceful elbows at Catalunya and various times losing-out in the drag to the line.

Misano looked to be a turnaround for the Frenchman as he looked to have had his first win in the bag, overcoming Nico Terol in a hammer and nail battle on the final lap.

However peculiarity kicked in, as in the race to the flag Zarco tried to fend off the speed of Terol's Aprilia by putting his arm out at championship rival instead of achieving aerodynamic harmony by tucking in, and losing out by 0.022s in the process.
