Competing alongside them in this year’s competition were teams from Canada, China, France, Italy, the UK and the USA.
The brief was to create a ‘Time Capsule’ Scrambler from either the 400, 900, or 1,200cc ranges.
Tamarit’s bike, Miura, was built around the Scrambler 400 XC, which impressed the judges and voters with its original interpretation of the competition’s Time Capsule brief and “exceptional build quality”.

The winner was decided using a combination of the public vote and scores from an international judging panel.
Tamarit took 33 per cent of the public vote, while also earning the highest combined score from the judges.
The panel was led by Triumph Chief Product Officer Steve Sargent and included Chase McQueen, grandson of Steve McQueen, bestselling author and journalist Eric Hendricx, German motorcycle journalist and FUEL magazine founder Rolf Henniges, and Satoshi, co-founder and lead mechanic of Japan’s Fonk Motorcycles.

It means Tamarit’s Miura takes the top spot after going head-to-head with six other custom builds, putting the Spanish outfit at the top of Triumph’s latest global celebration of custom motorcycle building.
