KTM teases major off-road plans for EICMA 2026 in November
KTM’s off-road sector looks set to be bolstered in a big way this November, after the Austrian manufacturer provided details about its upcoming EICMA 2026 plans.
Following a relatively quiet 2025 EICMA appearance in terms of new models, KTM looks set to respond with a big showing this November.
The Mattighofen-based company has released fresh details about what it has planned, with a large focus placed on “off-road performance”.
Confirming its expected presence at the 2026 show in Milan, Italy, on November 3, KTM said this regarding its plans:
“KTM’s presence at EICMA26 will offer a first look at upcoming developments across its product portfolio, with an emphasis on offroad performance and future-focused development. These exclusive reveals will remain firmly under wraps ahead of the show.”
KTM is expected to bring more new models to this year’s event compared with 2025, which is no great surprise given the company was still navigating its recent financial crisis this time last year.
However, KTM recently reported that it has returned to profit for the first time in nearly two years, with motorcycle sales improving drastically over the first half of 2026.
There have been no clues given as to what new models are set to be unveiled at EICMA 2026, although we could see a new flagship adventure bike arrive.
That’s because KTM has already tickled its middleweight adventure range with the 2027 450 Rally Replica, and the more recent 690 Rally, which landed in the UK with a price of £11,499.
Beyond those two machines, KTM’s 1390 Super Adventure S Evo, S and R motorcycles are all 2026 models, meaning we could see some form of update there.
If we look at the company’s off-road-specific categories, both the motocross and enduro segments have already seen a plethora of new bikes arrive as 2027 models.
One area that could be addressed is the company’s sports touring range, which only includes the 890 SMT, as it stands.
All will be revealed by the Austrian brand at EICMA 2026, which is expected to be another hugely popular event following last year’s record-breaking figures.
Over 600,000 people attended the 2025 EICMA show, with more than 730 exhibitors from 50 countries also attending the event.
