Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 (2026) Review

After nearly two years of anticipation, various development models being spotted, and a phased rollout expected globally, we finally know much more about the first-ever Flying Flea electric motorcycle. 

The urban mobility electric brand from Royal Enfield had already begun deliveries of the Flying Flea C6 in Bengaluru, India, as of July. However, its global rollout was soon expected to include the UK as one of the first destinations for the new bike outside of India, which has since materialised. 

Royal Enfield has now launched the all-new electric motorcycle in five major cities, including London, where Krazy Horse will handle distribution of the Flying Flea C6 through its store in Welling. The city-by-city rollout approach saw the new Flying Flea C6 launched in Paris, France, then London. The new electric bike has also landed in three other European cities, including Barcelona (Spain), Berlin (Germany), and Rome (Italy).

Flying Flea C6 price and colours

In Europe, the Flying Flea C6 will cost €5,990, but in the UK, customers are looking at a price of £5,300. Three colourways have been introduced, one of which was very much expected given recent images of the new model in India. That colour is Flea Green, which is also joined by Storm Black and Parachute White options.

The Flying Flea brand is inspired by the lightweight motorcycles developed by Royal Enfield during World War II, which were deployed via parachutes from planes to be used on the battlefield. Those bikes were appropriately called Flying Fleas, and while the new C6 model incorporates some of that heritage from the 1940s, it is thoroughly reinterpreted as a modern machine, which is highlighted in many ways.

The new bike features an exoskeleton frame, while also offering a contemporary interpretation of the original Flying Flea’s front suspension. A precision-engineered forged aluminium Girder fork is housed by the new FF.C6, which according to Royal Enfield, is the only motorcycle on the market today that features this advanced Girder fork set-up.

The Flying Flea C6, as well as the S6 Scrambler which is set to be the next electric model launched by the brand, are part of Royal Enfield’s growing plans to introduce more electric models in future years.

FF.C6 specs and details

The FF.C6 uses regenerative braking which actively extends the bike’s range by recovering energy when the rider decelerates. Royal Enfield claims a World Motorcycle Test Cycle (WMTC) range of 104 km (65 miles), a top speed of 115 km/h (72 mph), and around 44.2 Ib-ft of maximum torque.

At the heart of the FF.C6 is a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery, wrapped in lightweight magnesium alloy that is supported by an air-cooled ventilation system. Additionally, the new electric model produces 20.6 bhp at 3,500rpm. The battery is mated to a charging system that’s considered one of the fastest onboard chargers in the segment. The FF.C6 can be charged using a standard 16 Amp wall outlet, with fast charging enabled via its high-voltage architecture. Riders can also extend the battery life with the option to trickle charge, which puts the emphasis on software-led management.

The Flying Flea C6 can be fully charged from 20 to 80 per cent in just over 60 minutes and delivers approximately 1 km (0.62 miles) of range per minute of charging. Riders will also get remote monitoring and connected navigation, while advanced stability systems like lean-angle ABS and traction control are part of the standard set-up. 

Tech 

New owners of the Flying Flea C6 will be treated to Royal Enfield’s next-generation Fleaware OS, which is a system designed to continuously learn from rider behaviour. By doing this, the rider is getting a more intuitive and personalised experience, while over-the-air updates are also available.

The FF.C6 comes with a claimed industry-first rotary mode switch, allowing riders to regularly flip between different ride modes based on varying levels of traffic, or worsening road conditions. The new C6 makes use of a TFT display that shows selectable charging speeds, including Rapid, Standard and Trickle. A kill switch adds a further layer of reassurance and control for riders in case of an emergency.
