Overall Review

As an A2 license holder I have to be restricted to 47bhp on this bike...but it doesn't restrict how I feel about it! The looks and styling over all just screams look at me....now move out of my way! It's got a mean grizzly look that really draws you in for a closer inspection. Once more it's an upright position but it still pulls you down slightly into a sport position which feels great because I want comfort but I still want that sporty look because before this bike i had a yzf r125 and i loved every second of it and loved that sporty feel that it had, which is why the z800e had me sold! Comfty and sporty! personally I had this bike in orange which combined with the modern shape and style of the fairing completed the look for me. But that's not to say it doesn't work with any of the other colours available. Over all I'm more then impressed with the shape of the bike! Although I may only be on 47bhp im still happy with the amount of acceleration provided by this bike and I very much look forward to the power that this bike has available once I have an unrestricted license. As mentioned earlier I went from a yzf r125 to this bike, so the handling was a big change. How ever I can't fault it because your able to really use all of your body to help change the direction of the bike which I find really gives you the confidence to know that you can crank it over with ease for those tighter corners. Over all I love this bike and shall be sticking to super naked style bikes.

Strengths

It's a2 compliant which for alot of people is a massive pro because there's not a lot of good looking bikes out there for the a2 rider. It's a comfty upright riding position but it also pulls you forward into a sport position which for me is brilliant because I want the sporty feel but with the comfort! The speedo is fantastic, it's all digital and has everything you need! Rev's, speed, temperature, time and a choice between mile range or MPG and all around is a beautiful unit to look at! Changing direction/control is also brilliant due to the upright position your able to use all your body

Weaknesses

As any other upright position rider could tell you being on the motorway at top end speeds can get a bit windy and you really do feel the wind resistance pushing your helmet into your face....but let's face it none of us really want to be on the motorway, we would all rather be on the bendy roads having fun where this no longer becomes a problem. so this really is only a superficial con. My 2nd con which I'm sure most bikers would agree, is that the stock exhaust is just too big and ugly but it's down to personal preference and once again it's an easy fix with an after market exhaust.

Overall Review

First class naked 800 that ticks all the boxes if you're looking for your first big bike under 100 bhp and a reasonably priced.

Strengths

Fantastic looking bike with the right amount of power, along with great balance which makes the handling fantastic. Good riding position and nicely designed rev counter with mpg/average fuel meter.

Weaknesses

Only long riding on a thin seat padding is an issue here

Overall Review

Being my first big road bike I may be a bit biased. Despite that i regret nothing about my purchase and would purchase again in a heart beat. Thoroughly impressed.

Strengths

A2 compatible bike with a decent power out put once restrictor has been removed. Nice handling Good looking IMO pulls nicely through all the gears forgiving in the corners if you come in a little too hot.

Weaknesses

First gear is a little bit short in my opinion. Had issues with water in dash cluster causing some problems. squirt of WD40 in connectors and a good dry put solved this. Rear break isn't brilliant so i changed for sintered pads. paint on the wheels isn't brilliant. slight "orange peel" effect. doesn't come with a belly pan as standard.
