Triumph has confirmed which bike will be available to win as part of its 2026 Triple Trophy prize draw, as well as a new non-fossil fuel testing programme ahead of this weekend’s Moto2 season-opener in Thailand.

Keeping with Triumph’s Triple Trophy tradition, two bikes will be up for grabs, including one that is available to the public. The other will be awarded to the Moto2 rider that delivers the most “stand-out performances” over the course of the 2026 campaign, which will be voted on by fans. That bike will be #001 of the limited-edition run.

On the other hand, the public will have the chance to win #765 as part of a free prize draw. The #765 highlights the bike’s engine, which is a 765cc liquid-cooled inline-three that delivers a claimed 128bhp at 12,000rpm and 59Ib-ft of torque at 9,500rpm.

Littered with carbon-fibre parts, the two bikes will feature an individually numbered and personalised billet-machined top yoke.

Triumph has also revealed a new non-fossil fuel testing programme, which is in preparation for the sport’s major switch to 100 per cent sustainable fuel in 2027.

Last year Triumph carried out durability tests with 40 per cent non-fossil fuels, while confirming that the majority of its “engine mapping and optimisation work” has been completed already.

Steve Sargent, Chief Product Officer, Triumph Motorcycles said this about the double announcement:

“Powering the Moto2 World Championship over the past seven years has been a journey. From the first race in Qatar in 2019, we haven’t stopped working to develop the Moto2 project. Together, we have completed 1,781,698 kms in the Moto2 World Championship and all that mileage helps us to develop and introduce updates to further benefit on-track performance.

“Alongside improving performance, we are also committed to supporting the development of a sustainable future for motorcycling and motorcycle sport. So, as the championship moves toward 100 per cent non-fossil fuels, we will be using samples of 100 per cent non-fossil fuels to test for performance and durability during this season.

“The Triumph Triple Trophy competition is also proving to be increasingly popular with fans and riders. With a record number of votes last year and thousands of fans entering the competition from around the world, we wanted to create a Triumph Triple Trophy prize bike that was another step closer to the Moto2 World Championship machine.

“That’s why we’re giving riders and fans the chance to win a highly exclusive Moto2 Limited Edition Street Triple 765. Customised with specially engraved yokes, the riders will be fighting on the track for the #001 motorcycle, while the fans will be entering for their chance to take home the #765 model.”
