KTM reveals rental costs for 6Days FIM Enduro of Nations motorcycle fleet
KTM is celebrating the 100th edition of the 6Days FIM Enduro of Nations race by offering riders five rental bikes.
KTM is once again set to offer riders the chance to rent out one of its enduro motorcycles for the 100th running of the 6Days FIM Enduro of Nations race, which takes place from 12–17 October in Grândola, Portugal.
The Race Service and Rental Package from KTM is very similar to what subsidiary companies GasGas and Husqvarna are also offering customers at this year’s event. However, the Austrian company has a wider range of motorcycles available, one which includes the four-stroke 250 EXC-F 6Days, 350 EXC-F 6Days, 450 EXC-F 6Days, and the 500 EXC-F 6Days, and the two-stroke 300 EXC.
The rental prices for each model have also been confirmed, with the 300 EXC set to cost €3,520 (around £3,000). From there, the 250 EXC-F 6Days model will cost €3,600 (roughly £3,100).
Pricing for the remaining three models (350 EXC-F 6Days, 450 EXC-F 6Days and 500 EXC-F 6Days) stays under the €4,000 (£3,500) barrier, and all rental prices include taxes.
The KTM 6DAYS Race Service and Rental Package provides full race assistance, including service stations and technical support throughout the entire event.
Specifically, riders get access to technical instructions, tools for servicing, a wide range of Motorex lubricants and liquids for servicing, petrol for race days, and daily settings updates and race information.
Furthermore, riders can expect to receive WP suspension support, storage boxes for gloves, goggles, tyres, and personal items, emergency assistance at service points, spare parts service (cost of spare parts not included), one fresh air filter per rider per race day, which is six filters in total, a first bike service after the pre-ride setup is complete, de-restriction of the motorcycle if required, and catering, including a meal after each race day.
For riders that choose to compete on their own KTM machine, the Race Service package by itself will cost €1,700 (incl. all taxes), which is around £1,500
