Peter Hickman BMW M1000 RR is up for grabs
A BSB-spec BMW M1000 RR, raced by Peter Hickman in the 2021/2022 BSB championship, is heading for auction next month.

An official Peter Hickman BMW M1000 RR race bike is heading for auction at the Iconic Motorcycle Sale next month, as part of the NEC Classic Motor Show.
Hickman raced this exact bike during the 2021/2022 British Superbike season, which was built by his former team, FHO Racing. Hickman split from the team at the start of 2025, after enjoying a lot of sustained success together, particularly at the Isle of Man TT.
The bike remains in full BSB trim with Motec electrics, Alpha racing parts, and K-Tech suspension. It also features a Suter swingarm, Brembo GP4-RX calipers, and a superbike-spec fuel tank.
The lucky new owner of this race bike will be supplied with multiple sets of spare wheels, spare plug-in clip-on handlebars, race brake pads and more.

The ex-Hickman bike also comes standard with BMW’s M 'Competition Package’. This means a GPS lap trigger and activation code for tracking performance is included, as is a DLC-coated chain, M-branded clutch and brake levers, high-performance footrests and enhanced aerodynamics compared to the road-going bike.
FHO BMW Racing started racing the new M1000 RR from 2021 after taking over the Smiths racing team. FHO Racing then became the official BMW Motorrad partner in 2023.
Hickman was victorious with this bike on two occasions during the 2021 BSB Championship, with both of those victories coming at Cadwell Park.
The motorcycle will be featured alongside many other race bikes as part of the auction presented by Iconic Auctioneers. The auction will take place on 9 November at the NEC in Birmingham, with the bike estimated to bring home a price between £35,000 and £45,000.
