Limited edition Triumph Speed Twin Breitling and Top Time Chrono announced

Triumph and Breitling have teamed up for a limited-edition Breitling Speed Twin and Breitling Top Time Chronograph

Breitling Triumph Speed Twin collaboration for watch and motorcycle

WE have said it before, and we’ll say it again: High end watches and premium motorcycles are match made in heaven! And that is something that Triumph and Breitling agree with, as the two firms have today announced a limited edition motorcycle and timepiece to go with it!

The two Triumph Breitling limited editions include a new Breitling Speed Twin limited edition bike, and a Breitling Top Time Triumph Chronograph.

Sitting front and centre in the partnership is the new Breitling Speed Twin, a limited-edition bike with just 270 units produced worldwide at £16,000 a pop.

As you’d expect, the bike features a raft of aesthetic and specification upgrades over the standard Speed Twin, including an eye-catching new paint scheme, unique to the model detailing, and the option to add a Breitling Top Time Chronograph to your collection with matching edition number.

Complementing the blue and black face of the Breitling Speed Twin edition chrono’, the beautiful Polychromatic Blue scheme of the new Breitling edition Speed Twin was inspired by the blue Triumph Thunderbird 6T, as immortalised by Marlon Brando’s Triumph in the iconic 1953 biker movie ‘The Wild One’.

On the hardware front, the new bike comes with higher-spec rear shocks than stock, with Ohlins piggyback twin-shocks in gloss black being used on the model. The new bike also features billet machined aluminium clutch and alternator covers, with a dark anodised finish. Specific to the new limited edition models, machined Breitling branding further sets the new model apart from the stock machine.

Breitling Top Time Triumph Chronograph

Features of the new Breitling Top Time Chronograph include a subdued, racing-themed calfskin leather strap, and Breitling and Triumph logos at 12 and 6 o’clock. The watches are powered by the Breitling Caliber 23, a COSC-certified chronometer with a power reserve of approximately 48 hours.

A neat touch that will no doubt appeal to petrol-heads is that the the watches’ casebacks are etched with a detailed design sketch of the iconic Triumph parallel twin engine. The positioning of this sketch is very deliberate.
