Kawasaki has revealed it will add the more premium SE trim line to its popular Z900 range as it continues to upgrade its entire range for 2022.

The Kawasaki Z900 SE follows on from the launch of the Z H2 SE last year, which is designed to offer a gain in terms of kit levels, to go with a tweaked chassis designed to offer greater ride quality and chassis feedback.

Visually the Z900 SE is unchanged, blending what Kawasaki refers to as ‘Sugomi spirit’ in a handsome naked package, with a single colourways of Metallic Spark Black and Candy Lime Green available.

A new Brembo brake package to improve stopping power, allowing for more precise control and greater feel, plus a tweak to the suspension to allow for stepless preload adjustment, complemented by a striking golf-coloured outer tube.

KTRC traction control is part of the specification along with selectable power modes and an assist and slipper clutch, plus a ‘sound tuned’ exhaust note curated by KHI engineers, while those with a mind for economy will make use of the Economical Riding Indicator, plus Bluetooth connectively to the Kawasaki Rideology App.

Already one of the best selling models in Kawasaki’s broad line-up - particularly in Europe - the SE comes in at a starting price of £10,749, while the Performance Edition SE is £11,699.

The Z900 SE is the latest fresh addition to the Kawasaki range, with the naked set to be joined by the new retro-inspired RS version of the Z650.
