In recent years Jawa Moto has become somewhat of a forgotten brand in many parts of the world, but the Czech-born company is potentially planning to change that, starting with this new 730 Twin.

Founded in 1929, Jawa Moto has not been a major player in the European bike scene for some time. Jawa’s presence in India has been a bit more noteworthy in recent times, as Classic Legends, which is a subsidiary of the giant Mahindra Group, licenses the Jawa and Yezdi names, and therefore deals with Jawa sales in that region.

This new model is not to be confused with bikes sold under the Classic Legends umbrella, though, as the original Jawa Moto is behind the Twin 730 which draws parallels from the Jawa JD 730, which arrived in the Czech Republic in 2025, and which this new 730 Twin is based on.

Spotted at the end of January, this new model, which is nearly production-ready according to Motorradonline.de, is said to feature a liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 74bhp at 8,200rpm.

The new engine is claimed to be compliant with Euro5+, while an A2-license version with power restricted to 47bhp is being planned by Jawa Moto.

The 730 Twin features a premium spec-sheet, with its suspension handled by KYB upside-down forks that are fully adjustable, plus a matching rear shock. Stopping power comes via Brembo callipers, which are paired with Bosch ABS.

The Jawa Moto 730 Twin also gets a tubular steel frame, a TFT display with navigation and connectivity, plus LED lighting all around. The reported weight comes in at 213kg, while the 730 Twin has a fuel tank that’s expected to hold around 16 litres of fuel.
