“Very sophisticated” Ducati production bikes to get “fashionable” paint
Some “very sophisticated” Ducati special edition models are set to feature paint schemes similar to the factory MotoGP bikes.

A selection of “very new, very sophisticated” limited edition Ducati production bikes are set to feature a paint scheme similar to the livery used by the factory race bikes in WorldSBK and MotoGP this year.
Both the MotoGP and WorldSBK Ducati factory teams showed off refreshed liveries for their respective 2026 seasons in their recent team presentation events.
The red is darker this year and there is the addition of white stripes, intended as a retro-ish inclusion in the design as a celebration of Ducati's 100th anniversary.
“We are proud this evening to present this Panigale in completely new colours, we call it ‘Rossi Centenario’,” said Claudio Domenicali, speaking WorldSBK.com at the Aruba.it Racing Ducati team launch about the bike’s paint scheme.
“The colour was actually developed in the Ducati Centro Stile in order to celebrate this anniversary.
“So, it’s a very dark red to celebrate racing bikes like the Marianna that were racing in the 1960s, but this was a shining red [while] this one is matte in order to be with this also soft touch, and very modern.”
Domenicali added that the colour will be available in some upcoming limited edition models in Ducati’s production range.
“We still like this idea having this fast race bike in this fashionable colour that also will equip some very new, very sophisticated limited models in our Ducati model range.”
It probably goes without saying that we can expect both the Panigale V4 R and Panigale V2 to be included in the models that will receive special editions with the race-inspired paint, but outside of that it’s difficult to know for sure.
Perhaps a Multistrada V4 RS? Certainly, a special edition Monster would seem fitting given the original’s importance in Ducati’s history from the 1990s onwards.
