Honda confirms CB400 Super Four and CBR400R Four E-Clutch arrival dates
Honda has confirmed the launch date for its new CB400 Super Four E-Clutch and CBR400R Four E-Clutch models, which will be available in selected markets.

Honda’s highly-anticipated CB400 Super Four E-Clutch and fully-faired CBR400R Four E-Clutch models are set to arrive over the next two months, but only in selected dealerships.
First revealed as prototypes, both bikes appeared destined for production at some stage, which has now been confirmed by this announcement from the Japanese company.
As we reported previously, both models will share the same 399cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine platform, while also receiving the brand’s E-Clutch treatment. This is combined with a throttle-by-wire system that will be housed by both motorcycles.

Both models will benefit from the same five-inch full-colour TFT display, which also features the brand’s Honda RoadSync function.
In terms of release dates, the CB400 Super Four E-Clutch will land in selected dealerships first, with that taking place on August 21. Less than one month later the CBR400R Four E-Clutch will also land in some Honda Dream dealerships. This will take place from September 18.
However, it has not yet been confirmed if, or when, Honda will bring these two models to the UK. Given the rising popularity surrounding smaller-capacity motorcycles, whether that be modern classics, nakeds or supersports, Honda would likely achieve even more success should it bring these two bikes to our shores.

Over the last two years the Honda GB350S has proved to be one of the most popular small-capacity models in the UK across all motorcycle segments.
Pricing for the new CB400 and CBR400R models has also been confirmed, with the former set to cost 998,800 Japanese yen (around £4,600), while the latter is positioned as the more expensive of the two at 1,199,000 yen (roughly £5,500).

That price puts the Honda CBR400R Four E-Clutch in the ballpark of what QJMotor’s SRK 421 RR costs (£5,299).
