Zero cuts price of new LS1 electric scooter to £4,200 for summer
Zero Motorcycles has slashed the price of its new LS1 electric scooter to £4,200 until September 30, bringing its 70-mile range commuter within easier reach.

Getting riders onto electric two-wheelers has always come down to one thing: price.
While a petrol-powered 125 scooter can still be picked up for relatively little money, convincing riders to make the jump to battery power remains a bit more of a challenge. Zero Motorcycles is hoping to tackle that head-on this summer by cutting the price of its new LS1 electric scooter to £4,200 until September 30, 2026.
The LS1 only arrived in the UK earlier this year and sits in the equivalent 125cc class, meaning it can be ridden by anyone who has a full or provisional licence and has completed their CBT.

For the reduced asking price, buyers get an electric scooter capable of covering up to 70 miles on a charge and reaching a claimed top speed of 62mph, figures that put it firmly in the frame for commuting duties and everyday urban riding.

While those numbers won't tempt riders away from bigger bikes, they should be more than enough for the sort of journeys most scooters spend their lives doing, namely the daily grind between home, work and the supermarket.

The offer forms part of Zero's 20th anniversary celebrations, with the Californian electric bike specialist clearly looking to widen its appeal beyond early adopters and existing EV converts.
"As we celebrate 20 years of pioneering electric motorcycles, we're committed to making premium electric riding more accessible than ever," said Zero Motorcycles UK Country Manager Dale Robinson.
"With summer in full swing, this latest offer gives even more customers the perfect opportunity to experience the new LS1 and embrace electric mobility for less."
