Iconic Auctioneers will have not one, but two race bikes that were used by the Dunlop family at its upcoming auction at the Kempton Park Racecourse in Surrey, on Saturday, 18 July.

That’s because a 2010 Honda CBR1000RR superstock machine, which was used by Michael Dunlop at the Isle of Man TT, is going under the hammer.

This ex-Michael Dunlop Honda will join a Castrol-liveried Honda VFR750R RC30 at the auction, which was raced by his uncle, Joey Dunlop, as well as Steve Hislop.

Michael Dunlop rode the Hunts Motorcycle Racing Honda during practice at the 2010 TT, where he set an average lap speed of 128.324mph. That ended up being the fastest superstock lap in practice that year, however, in the race Dunlop could only manage eighth place after suffering from tyre issues.

The bike was built entirely by Hunts Motorcycle Racing, remains in its original TT race condition, and is in running order. According to the listing from Iconic Auctioneers, the bike features a “Chris Hayhew-built engine, a carbon Akrapovic exhaust, Showa ‘kit’ shocks, HRC 'kit' wiring loom, K-Tech forks and Ohlins steering damper”.

The bike is also complete with a small history file that contains various photos, a letter from Hunts Motorcycles, an HRC software CD, 2010 TT Superstock time sheet, and a specification list and old Datatag form. The engine is said to have done 1,500 miles.

Dunlop, who is already the most successful rider ever at the TT, will be looking to add more wins to his tally of 33 when racing at the 2026 TT begins next week. Dunlop is the only rider to have won more than 30 races around the famous Isle of Man course, with his uncle Joey in second place with 26 victories.

You can find out more information about all the bikes that are heading to The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at Kempton Park 2026, by heading over to the company’s official website.
