Isle of Man TT star Michael Dunlop has ended this year’s Classic TT as the most successful rider, after adding a third win to his name following victories in the Formula 1 and Lightweight classes.

Dunlop’s first two wins came on the same day (Sunday, August 23), although today’s four-lap Senior race is arguably the one every rider wants.

And it was Dunlop who proved too strong for the rest of the competition, as the 36-time TT winner opened up an early lead over Jamie Coward.

Despite Coward’s best efforts, that gap continued to grow slowly, with Dunlop setting a 128.596mph lap on just the second tour.

The Kawasaki ZXR750 rider was able to reduce Dunlop’s advantage on a couple of occasions, but Dunlop remained in control throughout.

After leading by nearly two seconds on lap one, Dunlop put close to five seconds into Coward by the end of lap two.

With a gap of over seven seconds in his pocket, Dunlop’s blistering pace showed no signs of slowing down, as he led by over 11 seconds at the end of lap three.

Dunlop’s dominant performance means he won every race he finished at this year’s Classic TT.

Dunlop was forced to retire from yesterday’s Historic Senior race, while he failed to start both the Historic Junior and Junior 600 Classic TT races.

Third place in today’s Senior Classic TT went the way of Nathan Harrison, while the likes of Peter Hickman, Mike Browne and Rob Hodson all retired from the race.

Aside from Dunlop, no other rider secured multiple victories at the 2026 event, with John McGuinness (Historic Senior Classic TT), Hodson (Junior 600 Classic TT), and Paul Jordan (Historic Junior Classic TT) all winning one race.
