Dunlop road and track tyres issued with a recall
Dunlop has issued a recall for its TT93 GP road and trackday tyre.

A recall has been issued by Dunlop, relating to its TT93 GP “street legal track tyre” product. There is an issue with the tyre which could cause a crash.
The fault specifically relates to a problem during the manufacture of the hoops, in that a layer of compound on the exterior of the tyre has been detected. The compound is said to be such that adhesion can be reduced to such a level that “accidents and injuries” could occur. The notifying country of this recall is Luxembourg.
The full description of the recall can be seen below:
“The tyre may have a thin layer of compound covering the tread surface. This condition can reduce grip, increasing the risk of motorcycle accidents and injuries.”
The tyres in question are stated to have been produced between December 30 2024 and July 6 2025, with the Department of Transport (DOT) number on the outside of the tyre verifying if the product in question is affected. The recall notice notes that only “online’ products are affected, meaning that if your bike came with these tyres from OEM they shouldn’t be affected. Please check with either Dunlop or your local authorised dealer.
A chart showing the affected DOT codes can be found below.

The TT93 GP is a treaded and road legal tyre that can be used on track. It is primarily designed for use in sports scooters, and comes in both 10 and 12 inch wheel sizes.
Should your tyre be affected, you’re urged to stop riding the bike and speak to the dealer for either a refund or replacement tyre.
