Cardo introduces its first fully integrated helmets
Cardo goes all-in with techy features for its first attempt at selling a helmet with an integrated communication system.

Cardo Systems - known for providing wireless communications systems to add to your helmet - has revealed its first-ever fully integrated helmets: the BEYOND GTS and BEYOND GT.
Aimed at touring/road riders, the helmets are packed with tech. The main difference between the two helmets is construction material. The BEYOND GTS “features a lightweight carbon fiber shell” according to Cardo and comes standard with a few features that you won’t get or have to pay extra for on the GT.
The GT is “constructed with a lightweight fiberglass shell” and, by extension, costs a little less.
Both helmets contain 53mm helmet speakers, which Cardo says improves clarity and plays a big part in one of the helmets’ most interesting features: Active Noise Cancellation. Cardo says the feature is “purpose-built for motorcyclists to combat fatigue and hearing loss.” We’d probably still choose to wear earplugs, but it sounds (excuse the pun) like an intriguing feature.

This is one of the features you have to pay extra for with the GT helmet.
The helmets also have something called the Helmet Health Monitoring System, which Cardo explains thus: “BEYOND includes built-in sensors which monitor significant impacts to the helmet. After a certain cumulating threshold is passed, the system will recommend having the helmet checked for integrity or replaced.”
Other firsts include upgradable tech modules, a detachable battery with wireless charging, automatic on/off functionality, and “a customizable button,” which Cardo explains as a button that “can be programmed through the Cardo Connect App for a single operation of two advanced features of your choice (such as music sharing).”
Wireless charging is another feature that’s only available on the GTS, along with the presence of LED lights at the front of the helmet, and a “brake light” on the rear (you just get a reflective strip on the GT). The GTS comes with a Pinlock 200 insert, as opposed to the GT’s Pinlock 120XLT, and its battery is more powerful - 2000mAh, versus the GT’s 1000mAh.

“After 20 years at the forefront of rider communication, this is, without a doubt, a breakthrough moment for Cardo Systems,” says Alon Lumbroso, chief executive officer at Cardo. “We’ve always believed technology should enhance the ride without distracting from it, and that’s exactly what we’ve achieved with this helmet.”
Feel free to debate whether having 31 people in your head would be distracting. That’s what’s possible via Cardo’s Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC) technology. You get a range of 2 km, Bluetooth integration, and hands-free voice control.
In terms of the actual helmet, it weighs 1875 grams, which is 125 grams heavier than a Shoei Neotec 3 equipped with the Sena SRL3 communication system. Cardo says it’s been wind tunnel tested and is DOT and ECE 22.06 certified.

The helmets will be available from summer 2026, with the GTS set to retail at €1,199 (about £1,045 at current exchange rates) and the GT at €949 (about £830 at current exchange rates).
