ZX-10R KRT 2019.

In reality, not everyone has the dollar to buy a new motorcycle without spreading out the payments. Luckily, plenty of manufacturers understand this, and they offer some neat finance deals to enable us (cash strapped) folks to roll on the latest set of wheels.

What is PCP Finance?

PCP is a finance agreement between yourself and the dealership, meaning in essence you are renting the bike from them during the agreed payment period. At the end of a PCP agreement, you’ll have to the opportunity to either pay the outstanding amount owed - by either paying off in full or refinancing - or you can trade the bike in and finance a brand new motor. The dealer will explain how to stick to the agreement as they are regulated by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority). Don’t worry, PCP finance isn’t a trap. Stick to the agreement and everything will be gravy.

The alternative, HP finance which has higher repayments and doesn’t require a lump sum to be paid at the end. As soon as you leave the dealership you own the bike. So long as you keep paying the finance on time the motorcycle is yours and you can do with it as you wish.

It would be unfair not to chuck on a learner legal bike into the mix, and there’s no better than the Z125. It’s nimble, easy to ride, looks the part, and will only cost you £57.17 a month. And there’s a special introductory deal available at dealerships too. After riding this machine at its launch I couldn't recommend it more highly to a learner, or to someone who wants a well priced, fuel-efficient runaround.
