Fun on the track but even more at home on the open road. Excellent.
Sooo tiny, standard suspension needs firming up for the track.
Triumph has ticked nearly every box with the new Daytona. It is different from other 600's and a joy to ride.

Overall Review

everything that needs to written about this bike has been written. full on sports 600...radical and fun. If you find it uncomfortable your not riding it fast enough.

Strengths

engine, engine and engine. handling is sublime brakes are awsome. oh and the engine is great.

Weaknesses

if your a big lad...cough cough, you may find the tip in unsettling. Moving around on the bike can unsettle it too.

Overall Review

the japs have reliability and engineering excellence ..the italians style and character ...this bike takes both and just blends it into the perfect bike! ... I have it in tornadon red so I am biaised when I say in that colour there isnt a better looking bike and theres no flat spot in performance that I have found!! Triumph I love you for this bike! only thing I marked it down on was comfort ...but who the f**k wants to be comfortable on a bike like this!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Strengths

looks ..sound ...engine ...handling ...and even the lovely little blue lights that light up when you up the revs!!!! character ... and just downright brutish roaring britishness!!!!!

Weaknesses

well If I was to be hyper critical you couldnt get a sofa back from Ikea on it ..but apart from that its perfect! Its so gorgeous you almost never want to ride it and just stroke it lovingly ...almost !!!....... but then you remember how much it makes you laugh out loud when you switch it on and let it loose!!!

Weaknesses

no storage capacity under the seat. doesnt handle well at 120 with a flat rear tyre.

Truly impressed with the bike so far - certainly has more ability than i do - yet seems to deliver more confidence every trip. Sounds strange i know , but Its not trying to get rid of the rider -like an R6 - but seems to work with you to become a better rider - odd but reassuring ! Love the rev lights and lap timing gear

Strengths

Immense power for a middleweight

Overall Review

Awesome bike for spirited sport riding with a motor and powerband suitable for city/street riding. Make no mistake-- this is a serious sport bike you could take to the track with minimal mods. A joy to ride and own.

Strengths

Motor: great low-mid rpm torque-very easy street and stop-and-go riding, great sound! Descent fuel economy when ridden sanely (I get low 50 mpg) Brakes: incredible power but easy to modulate. Handling: superbe! Feels light and quick but not scary powerful. Styling: obviously a personal preference, I think it looks great from all angles.

Weaknesses

Suspension: A bit harsh for my 170 lb. (in riding kit) for normal street riding, but just right for track and aggro riding. Ergos: same as with the suspension- definetely set for track and aggro riding. I put aftermarket clipons on to ease the wrist fatigue. Headlights: a bit weak.

Overall Review

Ride with a bunch of Gixer 750's and while they catch up on the straight-away's, I pull way ahead off the line and in the twisties.

Strengths

Awesome power, great sound even w/ stock pipe especially in gear at full throttle, sexy look.

Weaknesses

Steep forward rake, aggressive riding position.

Overall Review

Best sportsbike I've owned so far. Sexy, lean looking with a gorgeous rasping exhaust sound and handling that is way more capable than my road skills. This one's a keeper!

Strengths

Looks are awesome, especially in the SE guise and always turns heads. Excellent pull and handles like a dream.

Weaknesses

Agressive stance gives sore wrists when riding slowly around town

Overall Review

Great bike, great name, great time! Take the time to set it up right.

Strengths

Motor is a peach and sounds incredible as it nears the red. Handling is great and because it is so small, is very flickable. Love the looks although it might be me, but I find the overall aura of the bike to be slightly feminine. Can't explain that, maybe because it's so pretty which is a word I don't normally associate with a motorcycle.

Weaknesses

Changed the seat to the gel unit. Slapped on some Heli-bars. Still a bit uncomfortable after an hour or so of riding. Yes, I know it's a sportsbike. Under seat exhaust is hot. Slightly fickle electrics. Yes, I know that it's British. Biggest gripe is that it seems to have the same finish of a Gixxer, which means bad. Plastics have a hollow feel and bolts fur up as quickly as the exposed metal bits tarnish.

Overall Review

The bike has been everything I expected and more.

Strengths

I paid $6999 US for a new 2009 model in April 2010. Nothing else on the market can touch it for the price. Power is delivered assertively but smoothly to the rear wheel with a mere suggestion of a twist of the throttle. It is the best looking 600 on the market. The riding position is tolerable even for my 61 year-old body. It is sexy, fast, and has a great throaty sound. It draws attention wherever I go (but what British bike doesn't here in America?) It is light and exceptionally maneuverable.

Weaknesses

My buttocks require a break from riding every hour or so
