Overall Review

Had it just over a year still happy still get a grin just annoying the red one didnt make it here.Defently goes faster then the proclaimed 125mph.Get one you wont regret it.

Strengths

Great engine happy to plod or play.Far better suspension then previous models.Offers fair protection from the elements.Keep it clean and the finish is pretty good i use mine every day

Weaknesses

why did they ever change the seat .should have a taller screen and hugger as standard across the range.big depreciation.

Overall Review

My ideal bike. Looked at Triumph Street Triple (can't buy one, probably horrid on motorway); Fazer thou (close but too much cash for too many miles)

Strengths

£4.6k with 1400mls on 07 plus 1st service free. Really easy to ride, relatively low seat, great grunt from engine, effortless pace (seen easy 117 and still pulling), weight disappears on move, adjustable suspension, mirrors ok, wind protection ok for me (5.11), centre stand, clock, ABS, good lights, bungee points, steel tank, filters well, like the looks in metallic blue

Weaknesses

No hugger, no underseat space, fuel injection can be a bit fluffy at very low speeds (maybe just mine), brakes feel a bit wooden after Fazer, clutch a bit heavy in town, gulps gas, huge can with no noise, bit of a buzz around 4k.

Overall Review

A really easy, enjoyable bike to ride. More than enough grunt from a really good engine. I use mine every day, all year round and with a bit of TLC it still looks brand new. Have had cause to use the ABS and found out that it worked well enough to save me from a nasty accident. Gearbox is a tad noisy, but always precise. So far I have no regrets about choosing this bike.

Strengths

Engine. Comfort. Value for money. ABS is good too.

Weaknesses

Clunky gearbox. Heavy on rear tyres.

Overall Review

My first Suzuki, after an rsvr aprilia. The 1250 keeps suprising me by being very good at most things. Time will tell if the finish stands up to a few years use.

Strengths

Engine is wonderful, and improves with miles. Suspension seems to be ok, and of reasonable quality. Top value for money - nothing else comes close.

Weaknesses

Slightly clonky gearbox, but you do get used to it. Poor headlamp. Unfeeling brakes.

Overall Review

I bought this bike as I wanted something reasonably practical and fast. Something I could commute on, tour the country or go for a blast. There are other bikes that could of done the job, Fazer1000, cbf1000, VFR800 are just some of the other bikes I looked at. At the end of the day It came down to price, four grand for a year old bandit with 7k on the clock, heated grips, a Givi top box in absolutley mint condition. If the bike had bad reviews I probably wouldn't have bought it, but most if not all reviews I read had nothing but praise for the bike. If you are on a budget and want a powerfull all rounder you really can't go wrong with this bike.

Strengths

Comfortable, Easy to ride, fantastic engine with loads of torque. Bike handles nicely and suspension seems quite good for a budget bike. Price is very good for what you get. Tank range is quite good, I get 150 miles a tank on average mainly commuting to work and a bit of riding for fun. Also has centre stand, and fuel gauge which are always handy.

Weaknesses

Brakes aren't great, will probably up grade the lines when i can afford it. Bike is heavy and you have to think about where you park it, if you park on a bit of a slope make sure you are facing up hill!! Straddling the bike and trying to reverse up hill using your feet is hard work. Stock exhaust is heavy and makes the bike sound like a hoover, as soon as I have the money it's going!

Overall Review

Brilliant all rounder

Strengths

engine terrific handles like a dream loads of grunt right through the range and a lot quicker and faster than the top speed listed here. Fitted a Quill exhaust, lighter and sounds great even with the baffle in situ. Comfort is excellent I can ride it all day without any problems.I have also fitted an MRA screen which has improved the comfort no end.

Weaknesses

finish is not too bad but does leave a little to be desired in some areas. but if you look after it, its not too bad

Overall Review

It replaced a series of fuel injected Blackbirds and they really are difficult to compete with in most areas except long distance comfort - hence the change. However now that I have customised it with practically every add on you can buy it has acquired some character, Great value fo money and overall a reliable , fun but exciting bike.

Strengths

It has a great riding position - I am 6ft plus and lower end torque is fantastic

Weaknesses

A bit "plasticcy" but seems to hold together. The brakes are songy and don't inspire confidence.
