The 400s from Triumph have been a huge boost for Triumph since launching in 2024. The Speed and Scrambler 400 X opened up the door of Triumph ownership to a whole swathe of new customers, and a new, younger generation of riders rushed take part.

2026 sees Triumph introduce two more models to the 400 family, with the Tracker and Thruxton 400 both joining the range this spring. And while the motorcycle journalist community is yet to ride either of the new bikes, you can still reserve one for yourself via the Reserve My Triumph section of the official website.

For a £250 reservation fee, you can select the bike you want, in the colour you need, with Triumph then offering you the chance to pick up from a dealership of your choice. The system makes ordering your next bike as easy as dropping something into your Amazon basket.

Both new bikes mark a distinct change of direction from the 400s we already have in the UK. The Tracker 400 leans hard on flat track-inspired styling, while the Thruxton brings a cafe racer vibe to the family, looking a lot like a Speed Triple 1200 RR in miniature form.

Both are still powered by the punchy yet easy-to-live-with T-Series single-cylinder engine. Revised for each of the new models, the updated engine makes a claimed 41.4bhp output – five per cent more peak power than the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400. They both also feature a lightly revised chassis and obvious changes to the rider position and ergonomics.

The new Tracker and Thruxton 400 will sit alongside the existing 400 range, which includes the Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X and Scrambler 400 XC. Tracker will be landing in dealerships from April 2026 at £5,745, while the Thruxton will be arriving slightly earlier in March at £5,995.

More information on the Reserve My Triumph scheme can be found on the official website.
