Triumph Announces New Speed Twin 900 for 2025
Triumph has confirmed a new Speed Twin 900 will land in February 2025, with the chassis receiving a major upgrade
Triumph will serve up a significantly updated Speed Twin 900 for its customers in 2025 with a new chassis and ‘extra technology’ being implemented. It'll be joining the also updated 2025 Speed Twin 1200 and new Speed Twin 1200 RS.
To form part of the newly-updated 2025 Speed Twin 900, Triumph is delivering a more contemporary feel and effortless agility, thanks to the new Speed Twin 900 now having upside-down forks and matching sport-style mudguard fork protectors at the front.
At the rear a new aluminium swingarm and piggy-back rear suspension units are complemented by a narrower rear frame that includes a slimmer mudguard than before and a more compact tail-light.
The bike’s 900cc liquid-cooled Bonneville twin engine helps make a total of 64bhp and 59Ib ft of torque. The Speed Twin 900’s exhaust is made of a brushed stainless steel two-into-two system with twin black painted silencers, with brushed stainless steel end caps.
The front and rear suspension is made up of Marzocchi forks. The front braking system used is a Triumph-branded four-piston radial caliper and on the rear is a two-piston Nissin caliper.
Speaking about the updated Speed Twin 900 model, Triumph’s Chief Product Officer Steve Sargent said: “This new Speed Twin 900 styling has evolved to be sleeker and more dynamic while still retaining the classic design cues that deliver that timeless style. The bike is more agile and easier to manoeuvre too, as we’ve made changes to the chassis and specification that all add up to make a big difference.
“From talking to our customers, we know that the enduring appeal of the Speed Twin 900 is also due to a premium specification, top-quality finish and great reliability, and a badge on the tank which owners are proud to own. Our ambition is, as always, to deliver more of what riders appreciate.”
The new Speed Twin 900 has three colour options to choose from. Customers can either get their hands on a Pure White scheme with bright blue and orange stripes on the tank, a Phantom Black tank with dark grey stripes and gold accents, or a classy Aluminium Silver design with a dash of red across the Triumph logo.
The newly-updated Speed twin 900 will be available to purchase in February.
