2027 Ducati Panigale V4 specs, details and features
Ducati has unleashed its new-for-2027 Panigale V4 and Panigale V4 S, which gain more power and electronics linked to its MotoGP bike.

Ducati has unveiled its new Panigale V4 and V4 S models for 2027, with the latter now part of the Italian brand’s ‘Ducati Factory Made’ programme for the first time.
What this means for customers interested in one of the 2027 V4 S models is that a whole plethora of colours are now available to choose from, including five taken directly from the Automobili Lamborghini Ad Personam catalogue.
Customers can also take advantage of a range of homologated accessories that will be installed during the production phase.
These include Front Brake PRO and PRO+ packages, an STM dry clutch, and adjustable footpegs.

The V4 S version also benefits from new adjustable clip-on handlebars designed especially for track use. Ducati has raised them by 10mm to create a higher riding position, which follows the trend seen in MotoGP in recent years.
This change should give riders better leverage on the handlebars, and therefore improved control and reduced physical effort during direction changes and under heavy braking.
The V4 S has also gained numerous electronic changes for 2027, including Dynamic Engine Brake, which is a first for this particular model.
The new system replaces the outgoing Engine Brake Control and uses the company’s DVO (Ducati Vehicle Observer) algorithm to modulate engine braking based on the actual load placed on the rear tyre.
Additionally, the premium electronics package is further enhanced by the addition of the new Race Brake Control, which is derived from the most exclusive models in the Ducati range.

Now, the new Panigale V4 is, at least in race trim, the class-leading superbike in the world at the moment. And based on the changes made for 2027, there’s a chance the standard model will continue to perform even better than before.
That’s because the Panigale V4 posted an average lap time four tenths faster than the previous model during testing at the Vallelunga circuit in Italy.
At the heart of the 2027 model is a refined 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine that now produces 215bhp (two bhp more than before), thanks to modifications made to improve airflow and reduce mechanical friction.
Ducati says “the greatest gains occur between 12,000 and 14,000rpm, including a peak increase of 3.5hp (3.4bhp) at 13,000rpm.
Ducati has also adopted longer final gearing (17/42 instead of 16/41), which has helped the Panigale V4 increase its top speed by around 7.4mph). If customers want even more performance, a new Akrapovic Full Racing Exhaust PRO is also available, which adds 10.8bhp and 5Ib-ft of torque while reducing the bike's weight by 6.6kg.

Finally, Ducati has also introduced a revised exhaust system, a new high-flow air intake (0.6 per cent more at roughly 186mph) and a recalibrated lubrication circuit to reduce power loss.
The new Panigale V4 and Panigale V4 S will be available at European dealerships starting in March 2027, before North American dealerships receive the new models from April. Distribution will continue in other countries after that.
