Royal Enfield is offering customers the chance to jump aboard a Super Meteor or Shotgun 650 bike for a free test ride as part of its first JDM (Journey, Destination, Memories) event, with the first of those taking place on July 3, at Cooperb Motorcycles in Northamptonshire.

The first of several JDM events that are expected to take place over the next few weeks, the highlight for many will be the opportunity to ride one of the brand’s motorcycles. This week’s event sees the Super Meteor and Shotgun 650 step into the limelight.

Riders attending the Cooperb event will get to experience either bike on the flowing roads of Northamptonshire, with coffee and drinks provided throughout the day.

The family-run dealership is also offering the chance to ride the special ‘Wayward Edition’ Shotgun that has been fitted with various accessories. The Wayward Edition is Cooperb Motorcycles’ custom-built Shotgun 650 and the bike can actually be bought for £8,299.

The planned test rides at this week’s event will run from 11:30am to 4pm, which will then be followed by the opportunity to have dinner with the team.

Royal Enfield UK Marketing Manager, Becky Blackmore, said: “JDM events aim to offer our riders a real insight into the passion behind everything we do. We are nothing without our global community. Being able to host events like this—where riders can learn more about the Custom Team and then hit the road together—is a fantastic opportunity for us all. We can’t wait to meet and ride with everyone who joins us.”
