Foursome of Suzuki special editions launched
Suzuki Austria has launched new special edition models of the GSX-8S, DR-Z4 SM and V-Strom 800.

The theme of tasty special editions from Suzuki (that we can’t buy in the UK) is continuing into 2026, as Suzuki Austria reveals a trio of visually and technically updated bikes.
The bikes in question include the naked GSX-8S, DR-Z4 SM, and V-Strom 800, with all models gaining revised aesthetics thanks to special edition decals.

Starting with the GSX-8S. The two special editions are called Red Flash and Blue Flash, and you don’t have to be Mystic Meg to figure out what the common denominator between the two models is! In addition to the obvious sticker kits that adorn each of the new models, there is a carbon-tipped Akrapovic exhaust, which should make the bikes as easy to hear as they are to see.

Beyond the stickers and exhaust, the base spec and tech are the same as the standard GSX-8S, meaning you get a 776cc parallel twin-cylinder with a 270-degree crank. Peak power is around 80bhp, while engine torque peaks at 57 lb ft. We can't find any official pricing information on the Blue and Red Flash GSX-8S models, although reports suggest that just 100 are to be built and that the cost is approximately £700 more than the stock bike.

Like the two nakeds, the DR-Z4 SM Crush update (see top image) centres around a sticker kit, although it’s quite a bit more eye-catching on the updated supermoto. If you ever had a Campri ski jacket in the 1980s, this is the bike to match it! The decals on tis one are not applied at the factory or the dealer, and instead you have to slap them on yourself - something that I personally wouldn’t trust myself to do correctly. Again, we can’t find an official price on this one, but reports suggest it is limited to just ten units/sticker kits.

The final bike is probably the least eye-catching, but the most interesting. It’s called the V-Strom 800 X-Tour, and like the other bikes, it gains a sticker kit which features map contour lines in the design. On top of the updated graphics, the bike gains handguards and full aluminium luggage. It’s rolling on cast wheels, pointing to it starting life as the V-Strom 800 RE (road-oriented) bike. Again, no official price, but the word is that just five of these bikes will be made available.
