Two special edition Suzuki GSX-8R models have landed in Germany, similar to what arrived in the UK last year.

Suzuki Germany has revealed a pair of special edition GSX-8R Daidai-Iro models, which feature a new colour and a host of parts from the company’s accessories catalogue.

You may remember, Suzuki UK revealed its own limited-edition GSX-8R not that long ago in the form of the Kiiro edition. That too, arrived with shiny new paintwork and a smattering of extras, which included a single seat cowl, smoked screen, Gilles billet aluminium brake and clutch levers, a tank pad, and a two-tone seat adorned with a GSX logo.

The limited-edition GSX-8R Kirro arrived in April, 2025, and was launched wearing a bright yellow livery. Equally as bright, the new Daidai-Iro, which according to google, means orange colour in Japanese.

It will be sold in Germany with an accessory package featuring a passenger seat cover, brake and clutch levers made of aluminium, and a tank pad and transparent tank protection film. Additionally, the rider’s seat has been given a more premium finish.

Furthermore, buying the new model means customers will save €211 (around £180) compared with buying the accessories individually.

Then comes the Daidai-Iro Power model, which gets the same Glass Blaze Orange colourway and accessory package listed above.

But as its name suggests, it is tuned to deliver slightly more power and torque thanks to a complete Akrapovic exhaust system.

Suzuki says the Daidai-Iro Power version offers a weight reduction of 2.2kg, a power increase of 2.4bhp at 9,500rpm and an additional 1 Ib-ft of torque at 5,500rpm.

Like its Daidai-Iro GSX-8R sibling, buying the Power edition offers financial savings when it comes to the accessories package compared with buying the items on their own.

Beyond the list of extras and the Akrapovic exhaust that’s found on the Power edition, the special edition bikes are very similar to the standard model, meaning three selectable riding modes are again available, as is a three-stage traction control system.
