Stark Future introduces major update to Varg Alpha models
Stark has revealed a new update for all Varg Alpha owners, who will now benefit from traction control without the need to visit a dealership.

Stark Future has introduced traction control via over-the-air updates to its Varg MX, EX and SM ALPHA models.
The electric startup says its decision to introduce the rider aid is due to high demand from “Varg riders worldwide”. The motorcycle maker also says that the system has already been implemented and is ready for use.
If you’re unfamiliar with over-the-air updates and how it works, essentially, it’s a process that involves updating a device’s software, firmware, or configuration settings wirelessly via Wi-Fi, cellular networks, or Bluetooth.

With Stark carrying out the changes in this manner, it means Varg Alpha owners simply need to connect their bike to have traction control at their fingertips, rather than visiting a dealership to have the function added.
The new traction control system works alongside the Varg's existing customization features, according to the company, including power delivery and regenerative braking settings. It can also be adjusted independently to work in tandem with each power mode.
This means that riders can choose between different levels of intervention for better stability and grip, or lower settings to allow more rear-wheel movement.
Stark’s current range comprises three models, with the MX being the brand’s motocross machine. The EX is the company’s flagship enduro bike, while the SM resides in the supermoto range.

However, Stark confirmed last September that it is planning two road-going motorcycles, one of which is expected to be an 800cc-equivalent adventure bike. The second is believed to be a more sport-focussed motorcycle.
