Royal Enfield has joined forces with Swedish eyewear brand Vallon to produce a new line of motorcycle-inspired sunglasses called the Moto Aviators.

The collection takes cues from the brand’s Classic range — the Classic 350, Goan Classic, and the recently launched Classic 650 — with a heavy nod to 1970s moto culture.

The glasses first appeared at Motoverse 2025, Royal Enfield’s annual festival of riding and motorcycle subculture.

The Moto Aviators aim to mix old-school style with modern build quality. They use lightweight TR90 Grilamid frames weighing 29 grams, and are fitted with ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated lenses, which are designed to provide clarity and impact protection on the bike. Royal Enfield says the idea is to bring the “raw” spirit of ’70s rider culture into performance eyewear suitable for today’s motorcyclists.

Royal Enfield’s Chief Brand Officer, Mohit Dhar Jayal, said the aviator style has long been a staple of bike culture, and the new collection draws on that heritage while pushing safety and performance forward.

“Motorcycling has always been shaped by rider subcultures… Aviators were one of the coolest symbols of that era. This partnership brings back the retro soul of those days, reinterpreting it as high-performance eyewear for today’s riders,” he said.

Vallon co-founders Richard and Marcus called the collaboration a meeting of shared values around “timeless style and high-performance craftsmanship” and said the aim was to revive the icons of the 1970s for modern motorcycling.

A more performance-focused look with a black frame and smoke-tinted lenses. Royal Enfield says it reflects the cleaner, more aggressive attitude of the new Classic 650.

*VLT means Visible Light Transmission, and is a measure of the percentage of visible light that passes through the lens to your eyes.

Each pair comes with a leather pouch, microfiber cloth and collector’s box. Packaging is plastic-free to reflect both brands’ sustainability push. The new glasses are priced at £124 for UK customers.
