Aprilia WSB man tips speedy Spaniard for 2010 success

Biaggi: Lorenzo is the new Roman Emperor

FORMER 250cc World Champion-turned-WSB superstar Max Biaggi has tipped Jorge Lorenzo as the future 'Roman Emperor'.

Speaking in an exclusive interview to WorldSBK.com, the Aprilia World Superbike racer said he admired Lorenzo's riding style, tipping the Spaniard for 2010 success.

"Objectively speaking, I think that Jorge Lorenzo is a rider who has the potential to go well and I hope he can also win more races than me. I wouldn't mind that."

And on his first season aboard the Aprilia RSV4, Biaggi said:

"I'd say it was very good! The bike has only been racing this year and has never even been in competition before. I'd say the potential is great, now comes the difficult part and that's improving it even further."

When asked if he has his eyes on the 2010 WSB title, Biaggi gives a realistic response:

"Objectively my heart says yes, but until we test the innovations for 2010 it's impossible to say."
