Weise release the Michigan retro-styled AA rated textile jacket

The Weise Michigan is a waterproof textile jacket with retro looks and CE AA-rating

Weise Michigan textile jacket

LET’S face it, most textile jackets don’t really tick many boxes on the style front, do they? For the most part, textile jackets put function over form, and if you like the sound of an angry badger trying to fight its way out of a bin bag, they’re even better.

Although it doesn’t have to be this way, as Weise are proving with their latest release, the Michigan AA rated waterproof textile with retro styling.

The Michigan offers you all the protection you’d expect from a textile motorcycle jack, but it’s hidden in a neat looking retro package that, from a distance, could be mistaken for a vintage leather jacket.

The jacket is classically styled with quilted shoulder stitching, upper-arm stripes, and YKK vintage-styled zips throughout. It is fitted with CE Level 2 elbow and shoulder protectors, plus a Level 1 back protector as standard, the whole jacket is tested and approved AA under the current CE clothing standard (EN 17092).

The exterior is a tough 600 denier material that is waterproof, windproof, and features and breathable drop-liner plus a removable 120-gram quilted thermal lining.

Four external pockets and three more inside offer plenty of places for essential everyday items and there is a connection zip to attach to motorcycle trousers with a connecting zipper.

The Michigan retails at £169.99 (including VAT), with a 2-year warranty, and comes in sizes Small to 5XL.
