Oxford introduces Hinterland 2.0 ADV suit
Improving upon a longstanding favourite, the Hinterland 2.0 suit is better looking than its predecessor.

Oxford Products has finally announced that its new Hinterland 2.0 jacket and trousers are coming to the UK.
We saw this combo at the start of this month at EICMA and were really impressed by both the styling and the quality feel of the jacket and trousers. We particularly like that it’s an adventure suit that isn’t bulky.
“The Hinterland 2.0 is crafted for adventure riders with a sporty spirit, combining cutting-edge climate adaptability with sleek, distinctive design,” explains Oxford.

Taking a look at the jacket first, it’s loaded with features, starting with waterproofing that comes via Oxford’s DRY2DRY Trilaminate fabric. The so-called “Trilaminate” construction is made up of three layers of fabric:
- A nylon outer layer for protection
- A waterproof membrane (that Oxford says is breathable)
- A “soft tricot lining,” according to Oxford, that helps “to enhance durability and comfort”
On top of that, the jacket has a finish to help water bead and roll away.
One feature that stood out to us was the “half-placket” bit of cloth that goes over the zip in inclement weather and can be fastened back to allow better airflow in hot weather.

Certified to AA standard, the jacket comes with armour in the shoulders and elbows, with space for a back protector. Suggested retail price is £349.99.
Meanwhile, the Hinterland 2.0 trousers, according to Oxford, “offer a sleek alternative to traditional baggy adventure pants, featuring an innovative adaptable cuff construction and a tapered fit.”
The trousers are constructed of the same waterproof material used in the jacket, and designed to pair perfectly to the jacket via a long zip. They come with a removable thermal liner and are equipped with armour in the knees and hips. They are also rated to an AA standard. Oxford also points out that they are PFAS-free.
The Hinterland 2.0 trousers have a suggested retail price of £279.99.
