Alpinestars Corozal Drystar V2 adventure boot hits UK
The updated version of one of Alpinestars’ most popular ADV boots is now in stock at UK retailers.
Alpinestars’ Corozal Drystar V2 boot has finally arrived in UK shops.
We’ve known about the Corozal Drystar V2 for a little while, and its predecessor – the Corozal Drystar – is highly regarded but it has not been until the last week that the boots have been available in UK shops.
These rugged ADV boots “deliver top-tier protection, all-day comfort, and exceptional performance across diverse terrains and weather conditions,” according to Alpinestars (of course, they would say that, wouldn’t they?).
Featuring a multi-material upper that incorporates oiled and coated leather, microfibre, and suede, the boot’s equipped with a steel shank that is “co-injected” with polypropylene. The midsole also makes use of PU foam to improve comfort.
Back on the outside of the boot, the outsole makes use of vulcanised rubber to ensure a good grip.
We haven’t yet had a chance to fondle these boots in person, but certainly they look robust, and Alpinestars’ reputation is hard to beat.
The boots have a wide entry aperture to make them easier to get on and off, and make use of a Velcro and TPR closure system that Alpinestars says “accommodates a wide range of riders’ calf sizes.” The boots’ buckles are replaceable – which certainly helps in terms of longevity.
“Engineered for long-distance rides and superior walking comfort off the bike, these boots are rugged and durable yet lightweight, offering enhanced protection (and) making them the perfect choice for adventure riders,” according to Alpinestars.
The boots’ suggested retail price is £329.99.
