Unveiled at the 2025 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, the Manx R is at the very centre of Norton’s new motorcycle line-up. It was joined by the Norton Manx (a super naked) and the Atlas and Atlas GT adventure bikes.

Norton’s flagship superbike houses a completely new 1200cc V4 engine producing 206 bhp at 11,500rpm and 130 Nm (95.88 lb ft) of torque at 9,000rpm.

We’ve known about these numbers for some time now, however, the Manx R has never been closer to landing in the hands of customers.

The list of UK retailers that have welcomed the first Manx R models include Revolutions (Perth, Scotland), Car Barn Beamish (Newcastle), Brook Garage (Manchester), Oakmere Motor Group (Northwich), Judd Racing (Nottingham), as well as Seastar Superbikes (Norwich).

The Manx R has also landed at Woodcote & Copse (Silverstone), Hyside (Chelmsford), London Speed (North London), Laguna Performance Centre (Ashford), Williams (Bristol), Southdowns (Winchester), and Macphersons (Plymouth).

Elliot Patterson, dealer principal at Revolutions in Perth, Scotland, and a Norton distributor since 2024, said this about the arrival of the Manx R superbike:

“We are delighted to welcome the first of Norton’s new generation of motorcycles into our showroom and to play our part in this exciting next chapter. With the Manx R now arriving, customers have the first opportunity to experience Norton’s new direction in person.

“It’s a really distinctive proposition in the superbike market, combining the performance and specification riders expect with a level of usability and comfort that makes it genuinely suited to the road. The design, engineering and attention to detail are exactly what our customers want to see, and we are looking forward to introducing riders to the Manx R and to the wider new Norton range over the coming months.”

The Manx R starts at £20,250 in standard trim, before rising to £24,750 for the Apex variant. The four-bike Manx R range also includes a higher-spec Signature (£38,750) model, as well as the Manx R First Edition, which is limited to 150 units.

Jonathan Webb, sales manager at the newly appointed Newcastle dealer, Car Barn Beamish, added:

“We are incredibly proud to become an official Norton Motorcycles dealership and to introduce our first motorcycle brand to the Car Barn Beamish showroom. Norton has a unique place in motorcycling history, and with the new generation, all that heritage is combined with modern engineering and a genuinely distinctive rider experience.

“We look forward to delivering this outstanding proposition to customers who enjoy British craftsmanship combined with performance, design and a highly engaging ownership experience.”

According to Norton, a further roll-out of the company’s new range of motorcycles will continue across the UK, and internationally this summer.
