Triumph launches new £95 a month Trident 660 finance offer

A £500 personalisation contribution as part of the new finance offer for the middleweight naked

Triumph Trident 660

Triumph is offering £500 towards the cost of personalising a brand-new Trident 660, combined with a finance offer.

The contribution can be used against the cost of accessories like heated grips, frame protection, scrolling front/rear indicators and luggage pieces, colour options like the natty Jet Black/Triumph Racing Yellow combination, or items from Triumph’s clothing range.

Alternatively, buyers can simply use the contribution to reduce the cost of the deposit on the official PCP (Personal Contract Purchase) finance deal.

That deal has an APR of 8.9 per cent, which works out to 36 monthly instalments of £95 if using the contribution to knock the deposit down to £1,116.83, according to Triumph’s representative example. Ownership of the bike is secured with a £4,255 final payment. More details are available on Triumph’s website.

The Trident features a 660cc inline-triple engine, producing 80bhp at 10,250rpm, and 47lb ft of torque at 6,250rpm. That engine lives in an all-new tubular steel frame dressed up in classy, ever-so-slightly retro bodywork and featuring 41mm Showa forks with a preload-adjustable rear damper from the same company.

The round display features a reverse LCD rev counter and speedometer at the top, with a multifunction TFT portion below featuring information including a trip computer, the riding mode, what gear you're in and the date/time.

The Trident is a fun bike to ride for both experienced riders and those new to the world of two wheels, helped on the latter front by the ability to restrict the inline-triple engine to 47bhp for A2 license compliance.
