Peugeot launches ‘Total Sport’ Speedfight 4

More power and a fresh livery for new edition of popular Peugeot sccooter

PEUGEOT has launched a new 'Total Sport' edition of its Speedfight 4, which costs £2,099, includes a two-year unlimited mileage parts and labour warranty and is available now.

This new edition coincides with the Speedfight's 20th year in production and marks the two decades of Peugeot being in partnership with Total.

The main news sure to appeal to any 16-year-old looking for their first set of wheels is that the 50cc liquid-cooled two-stroke engine now delivers 5% more claimed power and 15% more claimed torque than the previous model's.

The fuel tank has also been relocated to under foot board, which Peugeot says gives the bike improved stability and sharper handling.

Peugeot has paid particular attention to the bike's styling - giving it a new paint scheme and details including highlighted air intakes, aluminium foot rests, a pearly saddle-cover, micro lamp crystal turn indicators, a rear spoiler and inverted sports silencer. Peugeot says the Speedfight's styling is inspired by its Exalt concept car, thanks to the scooter having twin helicoid headlights, separated by a grille, and an aviation-style fuel cap,

Elsewhere, the bike’s spec consists of an upside down front fork and a single shock at the rear. Braking is handled by a 215mm Shuricane front disc with radial clipper and a 190mm Shuricane disc at the rear.
