This is the CR&S (Cafe Racing and Sport) DUU that made its first public outing here in Milan, today.
The attention to detail is stunning. It runs an S&S X-Wedge motor that displaces a whopping 1916cc or 117 Cubic Inches. This motor delivers a colossal 150Nm of peak torque and over 100Nm of torque from just above 2,000rpm. Big figures.
The main steel spine of the frame doubles as a fuel tank while the machined billet alloy frame plates act as the engine pick up points, swingarm pivot point and shock anchoring point.
CR&S claim that the concept bike is a unique synthesis of American muscle and European style.
The Italian firm says they'll hand build a dozen or so bikes a year to customer's specifications. The price will be between E22,000 and 24,000.
