CFMoto has released images of a concept bike showing what its 675 SR could look like in racing trim, and it pays homage to one of Spain’s racing heroes, Jorge Aspar Martinez.

Since arriving in the MotoGP paddock in 2022, CFMoto has gone from strength to strength. For 2024, it partnered with the Aspar team in Moto3 and Moto2, with the Moto2 rider pairing of Britain’s Jake Dixon and Spain’s Izan Guevara, the blue, black and fuchsia bikes can be regularly seen fighting at the front - Dixon claiming his first podium of the season last time out in Catalunya. In Moto3, the team's David Alonso has won four of the opening six Grands Prix, and currently leads the riders' standings by 14 points.

It’s an achievement that CFMoto is rightly proud of, and something it is looking to celebrate with its latest concept bike, an Aspar Special Edition of yet to be yet-to-be-released 675 SR sports bike.

Proudly wearing the number five that Aspar made famous during his time in 80cc and 125cc Grand Prix racing, and is emblazoned in the blue, white and black colour scheme that is synonymous with the Spanish racing team. Technically the bike also wears several aerodynamic devices like large frontally-mounted winglets, and spoilers mounted into the tail unit of the bike. Elsewhere the bike gains billet aluminium foot pegs and levers, brake cooling ducts, a tinted screen, and finally custom-made billet clip-on handlebars.

One of the first public outings for the bike was at the opening of CFMoto’s new global racing and training academy at the (you guessed it) Aspar Circuit, Valencia, Spain. The venue will now host what is described as ‘a unique project in the world’ which provides riders and mechanics training and links to the Spanish Championship to the MotoGP World Championship.
