The Harley-Davidson Pan America is an all-new advanced adventure touring motorcycle built to explore both on and off-road.

The new liquid-cooled 1250cc Revolution Max engine is designed to offer flexible performance with a broad powerband that builds to a surge of high-RPM power. Minimising weight and maximising performance, the Revolution Max provides a narrow powertrain profile that is integrated into the motorcycle as the central member of the frame to enhance mass centralisation and handling. The motor also has an internal balancer that cancels primary engine vibration.

The new Revolution Max powertrain can also be found in the new Bronx 975 middleweight streetfighter. Fittingly, the Bronx is fitted with the lighter 975cc 60° V-twin instead of 1250cc found in the Pan American.

A Harley that handles?

To improve the performance of the new Pan America and Bronx models, Harley has collaborated with Brembo to create a new radial monobloc four-piston caliper. For tyres, Michelin and Harley have worked closely to develop co-branded tyres for each motorcycle model that optimise performance, feel and grip in all conditions.

Pretty cool aye?
