Moto Guzzi to open new factory and museum during 2026 Moto Guzzi Days
Moto Guzzi will mark its 105th anniversary by opening its all-new factory and museum during the 2026 Moto Guzzi World Days in Mandello del Lario.
Moto Guzzi has confirmed that this year's Moto Guzzi World Days (GMG) will double as the official opening of its brand-new factory and museum, making the 2026 event one of the biggest milestones in the Italian marque's 105-year history.
Running from 3 to 6 September in Mandello del Lario, on the shores of Lake Como, the annual gathering is expected to attract tens of thousands of riders and fans from across the globe. Alongside the usual mix of bikes, live music and demo rides, visitors will be among the first to see the company's new manufacturing facility and completely redesigned museum.
The new factory remains on Moto Guzzi's historic Mandello site, where the company has built motorcycles continuously since 1921. While production stays rooted in the same location, the facilities have been transformed into a modern manufacturing hub designed to build the next generation of Moto Guzzi motorcycles.
Alongside the production line sits a new Moto Guzzi Museum, which the company says has been designed to celebrate more than a century of engineering, racing and design history while looking towards the brand's future. The wider redevelopment also includes a Motoplex retail store, café, workshop areas and spaces for exhibitions, events and interactive experiences.
The site will be open to the public throughout GMG, with free entry available to registered visitors.
Away from the new buildings, the event itself follows a familiar format. Free test rides across the current Moto Guzzi range will return, alongside live music, food stalls and entertainment throughout the four-day festival.
One of the biggest attractions will once again be Saturday's mass parade, when thousands of Moto Guzzis of every age and model are expected to ride from Lecco to Mandello del Lario before arriving at the factory gates.
Moto Guzzi says the redevelopment represents more than just a new production facility, positioning the site as a destination for owners and enthusiasts rather than simply somewhere the bikes get built. By combining manufacturing, heritage, retail and visitor attractions in one location, the company hopes Mandello will remain the spiritual home of the eagle brand for decades to come.
