Kyle Wyman Bags Double KOTB Win at Daytona, Bradley Smith Second
American rider Kyle Wyman bagged himself a double win in the King of the Baggers class at Daytona, but there were noticeable performances from two ex-MotoGP riders

The Harley-Davidson X Dynojet Factory team proved untouchable at the Daytona 200 as Kyle Wyman took victory in both King of the Baggers races, while former MotoGP rider Bradley Smith, made it a one-two for the team in race one.
As well as his double victory, Wyman set a new lap record en route to claiming pole position while Smith was fourth. But the British rider was able to move up the order before taking second spot at the flag.

However, race two was not as fruitful for the ex-Yamaha, KTM and Aprilia man as he could only manage P10, while Wyman led the way ahead of Troy Herfoss and another former MotoGP rider in Loris Baz.
The Frenchman, who previously competed in the United States as part of the MotoAmerica superbike class, is new to the King of the Baggers class for 2025, but showed his talent to claim an impressive podium in just his second race aboard the S&S/Indian Motorcycle.
Baz was unfortunate in the opening race of the weekend as he was forced to retire after a first turn incident between himself and James Rispoli. The pair touched wheels on the opening lap which led to both riders going off track and retiring.
Speaking after his double win, Wyman said: “I love racing here at Daytona and there’s no better place to be than victory lane. It was such a game out there today. The Harley-Davidson Dynojet team put a really fast Road Glide under me and I had the power it took to win twice.”
The races at Daytona were the first of the 14-race season and Wyman already has a 22-point lead over the rest of the field.
