Italjet reveals teeny-tiny scooter for children
Italjet is following brands like Triumph and Hero in joining the children’s two-wheel segment, after revealing this mini Dragster Malossi model.

Italjet Thailand has celebrated its national Children’s Day (January 10) by revealing a tenny-tiny Dragster scooter for kids, which takes after the company’s Malossi Edition.
Much is unknown about this children’s Dragster edition, including specs. However, the reveal of this new model is particularly interesting given the likes of Triumph and Hero recently introduced new bikes also aimed at youngsters.
Triumph unveiled four different electric trials bikes as part of its new TXP range, which was developed in collaboration with trials, off-road and motocross specialists OSET, the company acquired by Triumph in 2022.
Those four models include the TXP-12, TXP-16, TXP-20, and the range-topping TXP-24. Meanwhile, Hero and its sub-brand Vida launched the new Dirt-E K3 bike in December, aimed at children from the age of 4 to 10.
The new children’s Malossi Edition scooter from Italjet apes the company’s 125cc and 300cc models, which are both available in Europe. The 125cc model packs a liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 12.7bhp at 9,500rpm and 7.7 Ib-ft of torque at 7,750rpm. The output of the kids' ride-on Dragster is not confirmed, but it is obviously quite a bit less than that.
The bigger Dragster 300 model uses a more powerful version of the liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which delivers 23.8bhp, albeit at a lower maximum revs than the 125 (8,250rpm). It also produces 19.1 Ib-ft of torque at 6,250rpm.

It’s unclear whether this children’s version of the Dragster Malossi Edition will become available outside of Thailand, where scooters are already very popular for daily commuting.
Whether or not that happens, this new model comes off the back of a very busy period for the Italian company. At the 2025 EICMA show in November, Italjet revealed two new scooters which caught the attention of many, including a first-ever Roadster 400 model.
