Honda updates CRF1100L Africa Twin range for 2026
Honda has revealed a new set of colours and graphics for both its CRF1100L Africa Twin, and Adventure Sport models.

Honda has gently updated its flagship CRF1100L Africa Twin, and Africa Twin Adventure Sport, with a suite of fresh colours and new graphics for 2026.
Of the two models, the CRF1100L Africa Twin is the more off-road-focussed motorcycle, but it shares the same frame and engine as the Adventure Sport. Both bikes make use of a 1,084cc parallel-twin-cylinder engine that produces 75kW (110.5bhp) and 82.6 Ib-ft of torque.
Two model options are available with the CRF1100L Africa Twin, which are the standard Showa suspension variant, and the CRF1100L Africa Twin with Electronic Suspension. The latter features Showa Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (Showa EERA). The system offers optimised damping for all riding conditions, plus the ability to change rear spring preload on the move.

The CRF1100L gets three-level Wheelie Control, Cornering ABS (includes an off-road setting), Rear Lift Control and DCT cornering detection. It also benefits from four default riding modes which are Urban, Tour, Gravel and Off-Road.
The CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sport gets all of the same features listed above, and it too is mechanically unchanged for 2026.
The adventure variant was first equipped with Honda’s DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) in 2022, before a major update in 2024 saw it gain a refined chassis.

The Africa Twin Adventure Sport is now available in a new Matt Iridium Gray Metallic colours, which also features a revised frame colour and graphic set. It is also available in Pearl Glare White, which again gets its own revised frame colour and Tricolour graphic.
The standard Africa Twin model gets three new colour options to choose from, including Grand Prix Red, Matt Ballistic Black Metallic, and Pearl Glare White. All three options come with a revised frame colour and graphic set. The new Pearl Glare White also comes with gold wheels. Both models are available with, or without DCT.

Pricing has not yet been confirmed by Honda, but expect the DCT-equipped versions of both models to get a slightly larger price tag.
