Honda has revealed a limited run of XL750 Transalp SP models for the UK, with deliveries expected from January 2026.

The SP variant comes with an OTR price of £10,499, which is a bump of £600 over the outgoing 2025 XL750 Transalp that it’s based on.

It’s also important to remember that the SP model is not available as a 26YM, meaning it won’t include Honda’s E-Clutch technology which was introduced to the new model last month at EICMA.

What you are getting for the bump in price though, is a retro-themed vinyl kit that includes updated colours, as well as a suite of Honda Genuine Accessories. This includes an Engine Guard, Front Side Pipe, Skid Plate and all required attachments.

There’s also subtle ‘SP’ branding on the front mudguard and at the base of the 16.9-litre fuel tank. Beyond that, nothing changes meaning the XL750 Transalp will continue to produce 90bhp at 9,500rpm and 55 Ib-ft of torque at 7,250rpm, thanks to its 755cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine.

If you’re a fan of Rally-inspired liveries then the SP variant is likely to appeal to you, but to get your hands on one you will need to be fast. The limited run will only be available while stocks last.

Like the engine, the SP model keeps the same suspension setup as the standard 25YM, which includes Showa 43mm SFF-CA USD forks with 200mm of travel up front. At the rear is a monoshock damper, with 190mm travel.

Braking comes in the shape of an axial mounted two-piston brake caliper that grips onto a 310mm floating double disc. Out back is a single piston caliper that’s paired with a 256mm single disc.
