Hero MotoCorp mixes EV revolution with real-world adventure at EICMA 2025
Hero MotoCorp goes big at EICMA 2025 with electric mobility revolution and new ICE models.

Hero MotoCorp has used EICMA 2025 to show the world exactly where it’s heading with a sprawling EICMA stand full of new technology, fresh electric concepts, and two internal combustion models that show the company isn’t done with petrol power just yet.
VIDA: Hero’s electric future takes centre stage

Hero’s electric arm, VIDA, took the spotlight with the unveiling of VIDA Novus – a family of futuristic, human-centric electric concepts designed to show what the brand believes mobility will look like in the coming decade.
The VIDA Novus range includes three distinct takes on personal transport:
- NEX 1 – a small, portable EV designed to be more personal companion than a conventional scooter.
- NEX 2 – a compact, self-balancing electric trike aimed squarely at urban riders who want the thrill of a motorcycle without sacrificing stability.
- NEX 3 – a sleek, all-weather EV that blends the comfort of a car with the simplicity of a two-wheeler, designed to handle both urban and rural roads.

According to Hero, the Novus line represents the company’s “philosophy that life is movement,” and its ambition to merge technology, sustainability, and the human experience seamlessly.
Having established itself at home, VIDA is now setting its sights firmly on Europe. The brand confirmed the VIDA VX2 urban scooter will launch in European markets soon.
It gives riders around 77 miles of WMTC range, a 55mph top speed, and twin removable batteries (IP67-rated) powered by an IP68 PMSM motor. That should mean it's capable of City + riding - covering off both urban mobility and a bit of faster out-of-town riding. Hero says the VX2 is designed to be “reliable and globally accessible,” which translates roughly to: “We’re coming for your city scooters.”
Two electric motorcycle concepts also made their debut:

VIDA Concept Ubex – a “Neo-Naked Urban Explorer” that mixes futuristic design with off-road capability. Think somewhere between a KTM Duke and a Zero FXE, only with Hero’s smart tech and modular chassis.
VIDA Project VxZ – developed in partnership with Zero Motorcycles in the USA. This one’s being billed as the foundation for Hero’s next-gen e-motorcycle platform.
VIDA DIRT.E Series: Electric off-roading for everyone (including kids)
Hero also took the wraps off a whole new sub-brand for the off-road crowd – the VIDA DIRT.E Series – under the tagline “Ride Beyond the Wild.”
At one end of the scale is the DIRT.E K3, an electric off-roader for kids aged 4–10. It features three adjustable frame sizes so the bike literally grows with its rider. It’s already picked up a Red Dot Design Concept Award, which tells you Hero’s not messing about with its product design credentials.
At the other, you’ll find the DIRT.E MX7 Racing Concept, a lightweight, high-performance off-road machine inspired by Hero’s Dakar-winning rally team. Built with fully electric power and proper off-road geometry, Hero claims the MX7 has been engineered for “riders who refuse to settle for the ordinary.”
While electric may be stealing the spotlight, Hero hasn’t forgotten its roots in internal combustion. The company also unveiled two new ICE motorcycles built around real-world adventure and performance.
Hunk 440 SX – The Modern Scrambler

The Hunk 440 SX is a rugged scrambler powered by a 440cc oil-cooled, long-stroke engine, complete with Ride-by-Wire, multiple ride modes, and switchable ABS with traction control.
It sits on a perimeter frame with long-travel suspension, an 18-inch front wheel, and plenty of ground clearance – the sort of setup that’ll handle anything from a pothole-strewn commute to a weekend green lane blast. Fully Euro5+ compliant, it’s ready for the European market and tougher emission standards.

XPulse 210 Dakar Edition – Rally DNA for the road

Hero’s rally team has been on a tear lately, winning its first FIM World Title and scoring a Dakar podium, and the new XPulse 210 Dakar Edition wears that pedigree proudly.
Under the skin sits a liquid-cooled 210cc DOHC engine, with fully adjustable, rally-grade suspension offering 280mm of travel and a towering 270mm of ground clearance. It’s very much a road-legal rally replica – or as close as you’ll get without an ASO entry form. Like the Hunk, it’s Euro5+ compliant, so it’s ready for global sale.
Speaking at the unveiling, Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp, said:
“At Hero MotoCorp, we envision the Future of Mobility at the powerful intersection of technology, sustainability, and human ambition... Our showcase at EICMA 2025 brings our vision ‘Be the Future of Mobility’ to life.”
Hero’s presence at EICMA this year makes one thing crystal clear: It wants to lead the industry into a new era. With VIDA expanding globally, new ICE bikes for enthusiasts, and electric off-roaders for kids, Hero seems determined to build bikes for every kind of rider, in every corner of the world.
