Moto Morini brings back the 3½ Sport
Moto Morini promises 350cc of thrills with the return of its iconic 3 ½ Sport.

Amid a fit of reveals and updates that included bikes like the ‘looks like a Ducati’ Corsaro GT, Moto Morini last week also pulled the cover off a new take on its iconic 3 ½ Sport.
The 3 ½ Sport was first introduced 1974 and is arguably one of the models that lingers most in the minds of those who love and remember the brand from its hey-day. Although, it wasn’t a hit with everyone. In 1980, US publication Cycle World described the 3 ½ Sport as having “good handling, record brakes, and power that takes a wrong turn somewhere between twistgrip and road.”
Describing the 3 ½ Sport as “the model that made Moto Morini an icon for entire generations,” Moto Morini says this new version “blends the tradition that made it famous with modern innovation tailored to today’s riders.”
Driven by a 350.3 cc V-twin engine, the new 3 ½ Sport boasts peak outputs of 32 bhp at 8500 rpm and 22 lb-ft of torque at 5500 rpm. Moto Morini says it is built around four core values: lightness, reliability, ease of maintenance, and riding pleasure.

“The design echoes the sinuous, sporty lines of the original, reimagined with a refined, contemporary style,” states a media release. “Every detail has been crafted to preserve the spirit of the 3 ½ Sport while introducing cutting-edge materials and technologies.”
Not surprisingly, the 3 ½ Sport comes equipped with a fair bit of tech, including full LED lighting and a TFT display that claims to have integrated navigation. We’re not sure if that means it has a GPS system that operates independent of one’s phone, or if it’s the sort of thing where you have to connect to the bike via an app.

Available in Legacy Red and Pure White, the 3 ½ Sport is scheduled to start arriving at dealerships in the “first half of 2026.” Whether we’ll be seeing it in the UK, however, is another matter.
Just a few days before this year’s EICMA, the Italy-based, Chinese-owned company lost its distributor in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, and Austria. We would assume that another company will pick the brand up, but at present that’s an unknown. We’ve been trying to get in touch with Moto Morini for clarification.

Pricing has not yet been announced.
