The bike was purchased directly from the PBM team at the end of the 2019 season and is claimed to be only one of two machines the team let go of. The bike is claimed to be the very same machine that Redding took to victory at Donington Park GP twice, Snetterton, Knockhill, Oulton Park, and the TT Circuit Assen, while also securing 8 Pole Positions and ultimately winning the 2019 BSB on his first attempt.
As is the way when a high-end race bike goes up for sale, the buyer will also get a plethora of goodies to accompany the Ducati. It comes with a new set of Pirelli Superbike Sc2 racing slicks as well as the set of tires that Scott Redding won the championship on, and subsequently, then did burnouts on in celebration!
Also included in the sale are Redding’s leathers, gloves, boots, and signed helmet, combined those alone must be worth a substantial amount of money!
And for those wondering what the cost of all this history and performance, a cool $150,000 or around £113,000 for use bike fans on this side of the pond! While that may sound like a large sum of money, well, it is, but it does mean this hyper-rare race bike with genuine pedigree is only £30k more than the carbon fibre Superleggera.
